Frequently asked questions

The practical questions, answered.

Clear answers for engineering leaders, technical evaluators and delivery teams.

What information does Voidmap need?

A slab boundary, areas of interest, relevant setdowns or step changes, permitted former products and the placement rules to apply.

What does Voidmap return?

A computed, dimensioned and tagged voidformer layout that can be reviewed and exported to DXF.

Can it use multiple former types?

Yes. Multiple former products can be evaluated within one connected layout.

Can it handle setdowns?

Yes. Former heights can adjust around setdowns and slab step changes.

Does Voidmap replace engineering review?

No. It automates repetitive placement work. Your team controls the inputs and rules and reviews the result.

Which formats are available today?

Marked-up PDF input and DXF output. DWG, Revit, IFC and API workflows are planned or scoped separately.

Can it match our firm’s standards?

Clearances, offsets and placement rules can be configured. Reusable firm-wide configuration is confirmed during evaluation.

Can we try it before rolling it out?

Yes. The recommended first step is to evaluate Voidmap on one representative slab.
